Moving!
Yay! I'm finally gonna leave the West Hills and into a vibrant neighborhood.
I really didn't look at too many places but this one just felt right. I haven't even seen the interior yet, just the floor plan on the website - http://www.tupeloalley.com/
It kinda looks like a hotel room. LOL. But it's a 5th floor unit with a balcony. :)
Update: There's no balcony but that's okay.
It's located in a new complex right in the middle of N Mississippi Ave. Surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Mississippi Studios one way, Mississippi Pizza the other. I'll also have a bus line #4 right outside my door which will get me within a block from work in 20min. I could also take the Yellow MAX line and also be within a block from work in about 30min. Just the savings from not having to drive (gas) and park ($9-$12/day) will cover most of the increase in my current rent to my mom.
I will be moving in mid-July so I have a few weeks to get things in order here, purge lots of stuff and maybe look at getting some new furniture (bed, couch, table) for the new location. I'll probably have to get a storage unit of some size but that's okay.. I can part with EVERYTHING! :)

June 8th: Oh shit! I signed the paperwork and gave them my move-in money. Getting pretty damn psyched.
